High-tech drug prescriptions including Kuvan are being affected by the cyber attack on the HSE. The normal process in prescribing Kuvan through the HSE high-tech hub is therefore not possible at the moment.
Kuvan prescriptions will be issued on a paper high- tech prescription and will be posted to the individuals this week. This prescription must be brought to the pharmacy to ensure the continuity of drug supply. We will notify the PKU Association when the service reverts to normal.
