We are happy to inform you that we have recommenced Kuvan® responsiveness testing in line with current government guidelines on COVID-19. A small number of patients with PKU may not need a hospital admission for the responsiveness testing and these families will have been made aware of this.
However, a larger number of patients will require a hospital admission for 48 hours for the Kuvan® responsiveness testing. We will be in contact with these families in due course to discuss the necessary requirements and answer any questions you may have about the process.
